About Nicole P. Klemas, ELS, RYT200
I'm deeply inspired by taking my practice off the mat and into the outdoors, helping students develop supple bodies and quiet minds in the fresh air and sunshine of northern California. My yoga hikes and beach yoga sessions are designed to provide refreshing outdoor explorations to yogis of all levels in breathtaking locations in San Francisco and Marin County.
My background as a life sciences writer and editor gives me great interest in the anatomy and physiology of yoga, and I am currently exploring additional training in yoga therapy. The benefits of my personal journey with yoga unfolded slowly: first as an injured runner, then as someone struggling with anxiety and depression, and ultimately as a lifelong student who loves the ever-changing journey of a daily practice. I completed my 200-hour certification with Bodhi Yoga Academy in Koh Phagnan, Thailand in 2016. My training as a marathoner and duathlete provides special insight into the application of yoga for physical balance and athletic recovery for private clients. My love of music allows a special sensitivity to the rhythm and flow of a breath-based practice.
Above all, I am deeply grateful to be able to apply all these interests in a way that benefits and inspires others.
